Moore, tournament chair man; Ken Hanley, low gross winner; J, Campbell, Tow net winner; D, Littleford, Molson Representative. : Ken Hanley shot a 148-to win low gross in the men's open golf tournament at the Aguasabon Golf Course and then went on to shoot a low gross 155 at the Marathon toumament. At the Terrace Bay tournament, Bill Stachiw, also of Terrace Bay, was runner-up in over-all gross honours with a 152. The Molson award was presented to Hanley by Dave Littleford of Molsons, sponsor for the event. Mike Moore, tournament chairman, was in charge of trophy presentations. In the A group, Bill Stachiw won low gross honours while Jack Palmer of Thunder Bay was second with 156. Jo Campbell of Terrace Bay was low net winner over-all. Peter Dashkewytch of Terrace Bay won low net at 141 in the A group. Runner-up was J. Farkas of Thunder Bay with 144. In the B group, Kerry Murphy of Thunder Bay won low gross with 162 while John Corrigan of Terrace Bay was runner-up with 165.
