At the Terrace Bay tournament, Bill Stachiw, also of Terrace Bay, was runner-up in over-all gross honours with a 152. The Molson award was presented to Hanley by Dave Littleford of Molsons, sponsor for the event. Mike Moore, tournament chairman, was in charge of trophy presentations. In the A group, Bill Stachiw won low gross honours while Jack Palmer of Thunder Bay was second with 156. Jo Campbell of Terrace Bay was low net winner over-all. Peter Dashkewytch of Terrace Bay won low net at 141 in the A group. Runner-up was J. Farkas of Thunder Bay with 144. In the B group, Kerry Murphy of Thunder Bay won low gross with 162 while John Corrigan of Terrace Bay was runner-up with 165.
