SUMMER PROGRAMME '78: Terrace Bay Summer Programme '78 has come to the completion of the summer sessions and at this time the Recreation Depart- ment and Programme staff would like to thank everyone who aid- ed in making the program the success it was. A very special "Thank you" to the parents who donated time and vehicles to provide transportation for our camping trip to Neys Provincial Park. YOUTH BOWLING LEAGUE: It is our intention to form a youth bowling league in Ter- race Bay this winter. We are interested in knowing how many children (7 years to 14) and teenagers (15 years to 18) would like to enter this league and how many adults would be willing to coach teams and operate the league. There will be a fee in connection with this league but the amount is not established. SPORTS TRAVELCADE: The Ontario Sports Travelcade will be in Terrace Bay on September 9th, 10th and 11th, and will be located at the Lake Superior Public School grounds in Terrace Bay. The Travelcade will be open to the public from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 each evening. The Travelcade has books and pamphlets on all aspects of sport. There is no admission cost and people are invited to browse through. JUNIOR TENNIS TOURNAMENT: Due to Tack of interest, the junior tennis tournament has been cancelled. UPHOLSTERY COURSE: There is the possibility of operating an Upholstery course for a 2 week period in October. The course would be every evening and we would be interested in receiving indication from those wishing to take this course. The instructress would be Mrs. Eva Connors, If you are interested, call the Recrea- tion Office at 3542 and leave your name and phone number. FITNESS TEST: A reminder that the Ontario Fitness van will be in Terrace Bay.
