I WEEKLY REPORT UPCOMING SWIM INSTRUCTION COURSES: A reminder that a Leaders course will be held in Marathon during the weekends of May 27th, 28th and June 3rd, 4th. Candi- dates must be 15 years of age and 'should have their bronze med- allion. Those who have not as yet registered their names with the Recreation Office should do so immediately to avoid disap- pointment. : There will also be a Royal Life Instructors course held in Thunder Bay on the weekends of May 19th, 20th, 21st and May 26th 27th and 28th. Applicants must be 17 years of age and have the proper prerequisites. You should contact the Recreation Office immediately if interested in taking this course. VETERINARY CLINIC: . A one-day clinic is offered in Terrace Bay if sufficient interest is shown. We must have confimation of your interest on or before Thursday, April 27th. If sufficient interest is not shown, the clinic will not be held in Terrace Bay. Call the Recreation Office at 3542. MINOR BALL: Registration forms will be distributed throughout the élem- entary schools this week for both boys and girls. As usual, we will be in need of coaches and umpires so we would appreciate hearing from any adults or older teenagers who would volunteer their time to supply wholesome recreational activities for the youth of Terrace Bay. The formation and success of this pro- gramme depends on YOUR support. MEN'S AND LADIES' FASTBALL: It is hoped by the Terrace Bay Recreation Department that interest will be shown in the formation of men's and ladies! fastball leagues this year. To get an indication of the number of participants in these leagues, we would ask you to contact the Recreation Office by phone or in person as an organizational meeting will be called when the amount of interest is deter mined.
