APRIL 26, 1978 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 11 TERRACE BAY POLICE DEPARTMENT The Terrace Bay Police Force was kept busy during the past week with numerous complaints. A male subject was arrested for being unlaviully at large from Mimico Correctional Centre in Toronto. This person was subsequently returned to Mimico to face further charges and complete his term in prison, Two complaints of willful damage *» vehicles were invastigat -ed by members of the force. Ons convertible top was slashed and a window was smashed out in a vehicle which was parked and unattended on the pumphouse road. Police are presently investigating a fraud when an NSF che- que was passed at a local service station. The Terrace Bay Minor Hockey Association also reports the theft of two Bantam hockey sweaters. These sweaters are of the Chicago Blackhawk design and have numbers 5 and 6 on the back. With the wam weather now upon us, the use of motorcycles has increased and the Terrace Bay Force would notify all driv- ers that the public school grounds are out of bounds to all vehicles. Several complaints have been received from members of the school staff about motorcycles using the school grotinds and being a hazard to students using the grounds.
