APRIL 12, 1978 ~TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 5 LOCAL RESIDENT NAMED TO AREA OECA COUNCIL Pam McKeever, a Terrace Bay resident, has been appointed to the Northwestern Regional Council of the Ontario Educational Communications Authority (OECA). McKeever, who was the recreation director for the Montreal Engineering Company's construction site in Terrace Bay, was appointed along with three other area residents. As the OECA's communi ty spokesman for a tem of 'three years, McKeever will be able to respond directly to local inquiries and comments con- cerning Ontario's educational television network. The other appointees are Hilda Holm, a member of the council of the Town of Geraldton; Don Prodanyk, of Thunder Bay, who works for the Lakehead Board of Educatjon; and Kelsey Saunders, a member of the Fort Frances Library Board. The 15-member Northwestern Regional Council is one of five such unpaid advisory bodies, established seven years ago, to inform the Authority of the cultural and educational needs of their region. ol i OUTDOOR ART Ah, too bad!
