LEGNED OF GREY OWL = Studio Lab of Toronto will be in Schreiber on Tuesday, May 9, 1978 at the Lake Superior Public School to perform "The Legend Of Grey Owl", This date has been changed from the write-up in last week's paper. There will be two shows at 10 a.m. and 1:30 pem.; it will be open to the general public at these times as well. WEAVING WORKSHOP = : Due to insufficient interest in the Four Harness Loom weav- ing it had to be cancelled. CHINESE COOKING - The Chinese Cooking program is confirmed for Schreiber on May 29th to June 1st from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. each of these evenings in the lower hall of the Schreiber Town Office. NORTH SHORE BADMINTON TOURNEY - This year the North Shore Junior Badminton Tournament will be held in Red Rock on May 6, 1978. This competition is open to students of Grade 7 and 8. Transportation will be required for those attending on that date. CONGRATULATIONS TO SCHREIBER MIDGETS - Last weekend in Terrace Bay the District Playdowns were held between teams from Terrace Bay, Thunder Bay, Schreiber and Dryden. The Environmental Assessment Board will conduct a public hearing to obtain infor- mation and to hear the views of the public so that it can make recommendations in res -pect of the proposed waste disposal site. Written and oral submissions may be made to the Board, at the hearing.
