Bay, Ontario: Dear Mr. Mathew: The Mobile Hearing Clinic recently returned from northern Ontario after visiting twenty- five communities from June through November. The tour was again most successful in uncover- ing and confirming hearing losses among both children and adults. Almost thirteen hundred hearing tests were performed and over four hundred of these also underwent and E.N.T. medical examination for identification of problems. » The-clinic was greeted with enthusiasm and support as it worked its way around the prov- ince for the second year. The clinic could not operate successfully without the generous assistance and concern shown by local public health personnel. Ontario's official flower, the trillium, is one of nine provincial wild flowers featured on the cover of the new book. A return to the larger type size is in response to customer complaints about the smaller type used last year as an economy measure to cut down direct- ory size. Bell Canada expects to deliver more than 43,500 directories this year, to Bell: Canada customers in Northwestern Ontario, an increase of some 3,300 over last year.
