WEEKLY REPORT NORTH SHORE HOCKEY: Two home games have been scheduled for this Sunday, January 15th, and Monday evening, Jan- uary 16th. On Sunday, January 15th, the Man- itouwadge Peewees and Bantams will provide the opposition for the Terrace Bay Peewees and Ban -tams. Game starts at. 1:00 p.m. On Monday, January 16th, Marathon Peewees and Bantams will provide the opposition for the Terrace Bay' Peewees and Bantams. Game starts at 7:00 p.m. Support our local players by attending these games. A reminder that members of the Recreation Association must show their discs to get the members admission rates. NORTH SHORE ART PROGRAMME : Please refer to page 8 for details concern- ing the North Shore Art Programme. The Recrea -tion Office has received brochures that have been printed on this programme and anyone in- terested in obtaining a brochure may do so by dropping down to the Recreation Office. SPECIAL INTEREST PROGRAMMES TO BE OFFERED TO TERRACE BAY: The Terrace Bay Recreation Office is pre-~ sently negotiating with Confederation College for the following programmes to be offered Terrace Bay: Cross Country Ski Clinic (early February); Accounting (credit course - early February); Chinese Cooking (month of March); Social Science (credit course = beginning in March); Women and the Law (date not yet fin- alized); Photography (month of March). Newspaper advertisements, radio announce- ments ans weekly reports from the Recreation Office will advertise these courses as they officially become available. Registrations for these programmes will not be accepted un- til they have been officially advertised. NDWT THEATRE WORKSHOPS : This coming Thursday, January 12th, the NDWT theatre company from Toronto will be con- ducting two theatre workshops as follows: morning = Public School; afternoon - Separate School. In conjunction with the workshops, official announcements:will take place regard- ing the live theatre production of WACOUSTA, which will be held in Terrace : Bay on Monday, March 13th. FIRST AID CLINIC FOR EXAMINERS, INSTRUCTORS AND AQUATIC PERSONNEL: A First Aid Clinic, which is being co-ordinated by the Thunder Bay Aquatics Committee and aimed at upgrading and updating your first aid knowledge and its applicability to the swimming scene will be held on Saturday, January 28th, at the Lake- head University Field House. This first aid clinic deals specifically with swimming per- sonnel and anyone in Terrace Bay wanting fur- ther information can simply obtain same by calling the Recreation Office at 3542. RED CROSS - ROYAL LIFE INSTRUCTOR RECERTIFICA- TION COURSE: The day following the First Aid Clinic, an Instructor Recertification Course will be held at the Port Arthur YM-YWCA.
