PAGE 8 TERRACE BAY NEWS CAPACITY AUDIENCES FOR SCHOOL CONCERTS The staff and students of Lake Superior Public School presented Christmas concerts in Terrace Bay on Tuesday evening 1977 12 20 and "in Schreiber during the evening of 1977 12 21. Students representing all grade levels actively participated in the programs. Presentations ranged from the singing of Christmas carols to the re-enactment of the birth of Christ. Mrs. Judie Cooper and Mrs. Ellen Hodgkiss provided musical accompanyment for the singing of Christmas carols in Schreiber and Terrace Bay respectively. Mrs. Sandy Quinton and Miss Jean Dinnen did an excellent job of production with the concerts. Special thanks to Mr. Stan Hodgkiss for his support in the preparation of facilities in Terrace Bay. These concerts mark the revival of an old Christmas tradition in the local public schools - a tradition certain to continue in the fu-ie ture. Mac- Neill on the concerns of the French Language Advisory Committee, it was agreed that the Board would contact the Ministry of Education to request the provision of a French Education; Officer for Northwestern Ontario who would be stationed in Thunder Bay.
