WEEKLY REPORT NORTH SHORE ART PROGRAMME : The Terrace Bay Recreation Office is pre- sently accepting registrations for the North Shore Art Programme, which will commence in Terrace Bay on Wednesday, January 18th. This will be a 1l0-week programme and the cost to the registrant is $25.00. Register at the Rec -reation Office as quickly as possible. NORTH SHORE HOCKEY: The next home North Shore hockey game will be on Monday, January 9th, when the Marathon Midgets will provide the opposition to the Terrace Bay Midgets. Game time is 7:30 p.m. RINGETTE TOURNAMENT : 3 This coming weekend, the Terrace Bay Ring- ette Association is hosting a Ringette tour- nament involving two teams from the City of Thunder Bay. Ringette ice time has been sche- duled from 5:20 to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, Jan- vary 7th, and from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Sun- day, January 8th. Why not drop in to the arena this weekend to see the sport of Ring- ette in action? THEATRE WORKSHOPS: As advertised previously in the Terrace Bay News, theatre workshops have been schedul- ed for the Public School and Separate School for Thursday, January 12th. All details per- taining to the theatre workshop will be an= nounced at the schools. THUNDER BAY SKI TOUR: The Terrace' Bay Recreation Office has re- ceived information on a cross-country Ski Tour, which will take place at Sibley Provin- 'cial Park on Saturday, March 4th. This event is open to all skiers between the ages of 4 to 104. The total distance of the tour is 40 kilometers. The emphasis on this ski tour is family participation and points will be awarded accordingly. For further information, simply drop down to the Recreation Office. COMING EVENTS: Registration for a limited number of new Brownies born 1968-1969-1970 can be arranged by telephoning Mrs. D. Stachiw, 825-3591.
