Under the Director's Report the Board ap- proved the change of P.A. Days for Holy Angels - and St. Martin Schools from 1978 01 30 .and == & 1978 05 08 to 1978 01 23 and 24. The next Regular Board Meeting will be held on Saturday, January 21, 1978, at 10:00 a.m., in St. Martin School, Terrace Bay. The final meeting of the year for the Board of Management of the District of Thunder Bay Home for the Aged was held on Friday, Decem- ber 16th, 1977 at Pinewood Court. Accounts for Birchwood Terrace and Pinewood 1 Court were approved totalling $144,791. 70. | Minor Capital Budget for Birchwood Terrace in the amount of $11,430.00 and for Pinewood ° Court in the amount of $34,100.00 was faved: by the Board. Shell of Canada was the successful bidder w for oil to be delivered to Birchwood Terrace for the period beginning January lst to December 31st, 1978. A lenghty discussion took place on the Oper -ational Budget for both Homes for the year == 1978 and a portion of 1979 as the Ministry has requested a fifteen month operational. The aim. will be to set a reasonable per diem rate. and maintain services. This will cause many changes in staff pattern, etc. : The next Board meeting has been set for January 27th at Birchwood Terrace.
