DECEMBER 21,1977 TERRACE B AY NEWS PAGE 43 . SCHREIBER NEW ARENA MEETING ; Monday, December 12th, a meeting to inform the public on the new arena took place at the Schreiber High School. The one hundred people Fttending viewed the "drawings, saw the costs (original estimate and revised), heard where grants were coming from; what was required from the public sector. Recreation Committee Chairman, Bill Collin- "son, called the meeting to order and then turned it over to Councillor, Norm Boon. Councillor Boon up-dated those attending from when the existing arena closed for re- pairs under the Ministry of Labour guidelines through to endless meetings, planning the arena, securing the necessary lands, rerouting ditches for drainage, to finances which in- "cluded how much the Town had in reserve, to the required funds from the public/private sector. ~~ This brought-us up to the meeting at the "High School.
