WEEKLY REPORT NORTH SHORE HOCKEY: : The next scheduled home game for Terrace Bay is this coming Sunday, December llth; when the Manitouwadge Midgets will provide the op- position for our local Midgets. ARENA HEATERS TO BE INSTALLED: Commencing this week, R.J. Ball Electric will be installing 6 infra-red heaters in our arena. We mention this to the general public for two reasons: (1) We ask for your co-opera- tion when using the arena not to interfere with the electrical contractor and his work; and (2) to inform the general public that only 6 heaters at this time will be installed pure- ly as an experimental project. Since electrical infra-red heaters seem to work in some arenas and not too well in others, our Department has decided to install 6 units along the north side of the spectator area and if they prove successful, an attempt will be made in the 1978 budget to complete the arena. Please bear with us as the installation 1 proceeds in the arena. NORTH SHORE ART PROGRAMME: The Recreation Office has been in conversa- tion with Confederation College concerning the North Shore Art Course. It is hoped that pub- licity on this programme will be released during the week of December 12th. When the in -formation is published, anyone interested in registering for this specialized programme will be able to do so at the Recreation Office dur- ing office hours. : TERRACE BAY RECREATION CENTRE HOLIDAYS: A specific schedule governing the operation of the Recreation Centre over the Christmas and New Year holidays will be published in the Ter- race Bay News starting next week.
