The Terrace Bay Kinsmen Club and the Schreiber Kinsmen Club sponsored the clinic . and patients were seen from both towns. For the first time, due to patients for appointment demand in previous years, the length of stay was increased to a week. ; Dr. Richard Merritt from Niagara, K Falls was the ophthalmologist for the week. Miss Sandy Friesen and Miss Jane Williams are the permanent staff with the vans - The van has been travelling since the first of April and will return to Toronto in November.
