PAGE 14 SEPTEMBER 14, 1977 LADIES GOLF CLUB NEWS: 'A busy golfing season ended with a success- ful Moore's Mixed Tournament held on Sunday, September 11th. Low net winners for the Moore®s Trophy were Helen Farrell and Grant Solly.. Low net runners up - Rhea Beaulieu and Scotty Hamilton. Low gross winners were Linda Hutch- inson and Forrest Notwell. Jean Megraw and _ Howard Solly had the least putts. Most im~ proved golfers over the first nine holes were Isobel Renaud and Grant Puttock. A special award for spotting wild animals was made to Betty and Stan Evans. They reported seeing a porcupine, fox and bear. 2 : The Ladies Club Championship was held dur- ing August 14th, 15th and 16th. The low gross winner for the Joe Adamo Memorial Trophy was Julie Rattray. First and second runner up awards went to Linda Hutchinson and Ruby Clark, respectively. Low net winner was Jan Hall. The Costa's High Handicap Trophy was won by Helen Farrell. The Ladies Tuesday Twilights will ont on a casual basis for those who are interested.} Last Tuesday's winners were Jean Megraw --- low net; Julie Rattray - low gross; least putts - Isobel Renaud and high hole - Barbara Wise. Ice requests must identify the organization and specifically request the number of ses- sions per week and specific times of sessions per week. For further information, simply call the Recreation Office at 3542. The final arena schedule format will be re- viewed and decided upon by the Recreation Committee at their October 3nd meeting; therefore, it is very important that all respective groups and organizations make their submission to the Recreation Somalis tee. Work term is as indicated above and the. rate of pay is $6.24 per hour with a .10¢ differential for evening shifts.
