There are dumps maintained by the Ministry of Natural Resources as well as logging companies in our forest areas. Also available are Municipal dumps on or adjacent to the same highway you may be heading home on. Treated as above, there will be no odour and it will not take up much room. The Crown lands of Ontario belong to all of us. Let's not leave them looking like a gar- bage dump. With a little more effort from all of us, we can leave our campsites looking better than when we arrived. / The Academy of Friendship Committee were in charge of the Chapter Night: in May. Proceeds from the penny auction that evening were given to the McCausland Hospital. A lovely cake make made by Kay Furyk which was decorated in blue and white, the colours for the Academy of Friendship, was served along with other deli- cious edibles. Alma Hart who received her Academy of Friendship degree recently in Virginia, Minnesota gave a talk on the conven- tion, # Officers for the 1977-78 term are as fol- lows: Senior Regent - Helen Almos; Graduate Regent - Marielle Tardif; Junior Regent - Gisele Legacy; Chaplain - Margaret Walterhouse;} Treasurer - Yvonne Leclair; Recorder Lorraine Desaulniers. 1Installation of officers will be June 24th at seven p.m. Alma Hart will present the two bursaries from the Women of the Moose at the High School Graduation ceremony on' June 28th. A donation will be given to Lodge 1752 to- wards utility expenses. - Forty-two members were present on June 7th for the lovely annual supper which was catered by the Ladies Auxiliary to the Community Church. Alma Moquin won the raffle prize. 7. The highlight of the Schreiber North Stars Junior Hockey Banquet, held on May 28th, was the introduction of a J new trophy for annual th presentation. This trophy, "The Bob Spadoni Award", for the North Stars' most dedicated player, was so named by the Club in apprecia- tion of the many years of support Bob (Mr. R.B. Spadoni) has given the North Stars - pro -viding the team with sweaters since 1962, A a bus for out of town txips, much vocal sup- ~ port and four sons - one of them Stan - being a coach and now manager of the team.
