MINUTES OF THE McCAUSLAND HOSPITAL ANNUAL MEETING HELD ON TUESDAY, APRIL 19TH, 1977. AUDITORIUM - LAKE SUPERIOR HIGH SCHOOL - SCHREIBER CAMPUS: Mrs. Rena McAdam, President of the Board of Governors, called the Meeting to order at 8:10 p.m. The President welcomed approximate- ly (50) fifty members of the Corporation and gave an informative message on costs, const- raints, and cooperation. Presentation of Annual Reports: Finance and Audit - Mr. Bill Houston, Chairman, highlighted the Auditors' 1976 Financial Statements noting a surplus of $7,711 due mainly to the fact that approved employee positions were filled for only a portion of the year. : It was moved by William Houston and second- ed by Dorothy Rummery that the Report of the Finance & Audit Committee be accepted as pre- sented. CARRIED. ; It was moved by William Houston and second- ed by Dr. Keith Wilkes that the Auditors' Re- port and Financial Statements for the year 1974 be accepted. CARRIED. Development--- : Mrs. Jeanette McEwen, Chairman, stated the Functional Program was resubmitted December 20th, 1976. In Toronto, March 10th, 1977, Hospital Representatives, with J. Petersmeyer, Architect, and J. Stokes, M.P.P., met with the Ministry of Health, at which time Stage D was approved. On March 29th, 1977, in Terrace Bay Stage E (Block Schematics) was approved by the Ministry of Health. Continued page 8 .... Commencing on Wednesday, May 18th, Recreation discs may be picked up at the Recreation Of- fice during office hours. MINOR BALL PROGRAMME : With the registration deadline date having been passed, this week will be used to select teams and circulate the schedules to all pla- yers.
