The Ladies Auxiliary to Royal Canadian Leg- 'ion, Br. 109 at the May 2nd meeting agreed to sponsor the Red Shield Campaign in May - this being a project they have carried out for many years, most successfully. Final plans were made for the annual birth ~day party to be held on Sat. May 14th. Three new members were initiated and wel- comed - Betty-Ann McKenna, Judith Davis and Mrs. Jayne Santerre. Mrs. Georgina Davis, the president, was welcoming two of her daughters = Judith Davis and Jayne Santerre » into membership. Minutes of the last meeting, and the fin- ancial statement were adopted as read by Earline Johnson and Rena Ross. : The birthday gift was won by Earline Johnson. Lunch committee for June will be Myrtle , Zaporzan, Gail Welbourne and Victoria Winters.
