ALL BOWLERS: If you are having trouble getting strikes by hitting the head pin, Monty Paget is now giving lessons on how to meke strikes by knocking out the four pin. He hasn't as yet made known the fee. Monday night Monty pulled one of these shots that mekes one use language not fit to hear until you take another look and see all the pins falling over. At the first game of the semi-finals series B between Nipigon Flyers and Terrace Bay Superiors held here last Saturday night, Dave Whalen was honoured for his past season's hockey records. Throughout the season, all play- ers! statistics released by statistician J.E. Broughton re- vealed Dave as the top scorer. In achieving the honour as Leading Scorer, Dave shattered three records which in this reporter's opinion will take some time to beat. This agreement, if accepted by the Department of Education, would allow expansion at both High Schools. The Schreiber High School would be expanded to offer the full four year program in Business and Commerce, in addition to the present complete five year program in Arts and Science. The Terrace Bay High School would con- tinue to of fer the five year Arts and Science program up to the end of Grade 12, Facilities would be added to estab- 1ish the four year program in Science, Technology, and Trades, and the two year Occupations programe. Winners in the Family bonspiel in Schreiber, were First Event - Geoff Birch, Brian Birch, Edie Birch, and Ruth Ann Birch. - Mavis Slater, Myrna McCualig. 1 YEAR AGO - MARCH 3, 1976 On Saturdsy, February 28, 1976 the Women of the Moose, Chapter 1426, Terrace Bay held their 20th Anniversary at the Moose Hall. The 20 yeer members were honoured with a presentation of a gift. They are: Stella Ssdowick, Anne Stachiw and Alma Hart, On February 20th, sketers from Terrace Bay entered the Maniouwadge Inter-club competition and ere test day.
