The Yearbook Staff has put in many hours of work and ask the support of the student body in purchasing Copies. Last year's edition of the yearbook was a great success and it is hoped that this can be an annual undertaking. The friend- ship bowling night organized by the Sports Committee of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #223 on February 15th was a huge success. Many newcomers to Terrace Bay working with MECO and Commonwealth Construction were in- vited along with their wives for a few bowl- ing games with members of the Legion Bowling league. Some of the more experienced bowlers encouraged their less fortunate partners through the two games. As it was a "fun" night, just to promote friendship, no prizes were awarded, but Julie Rattray and Ezzie Fox had the highest score. Legion members and guests were in- vited to the Legion Hall after the bowling for a sing-a-long. Why not join us the next time - we had fun! SOCIAL: A Bridal Shower for Miss Darlene Mallais was held at the home of Mrs. Dorothy Coupal on February 14. Many friends and re- lations attended. Darlene was seated in a gaily decorated chair, and was assisted 'in opening her gifts by Mrs. Lenore Mallais. Mrs. Judy Stuart fashioned a bonnet out of the many bows and ribbons.
