This former NHL-er with Chicago and Detroit is one of Canada's most experienced coaches. Lee Fogolin junior was the top draft choice in North America in 1974 and now plays defence with Buffalo Sabres. He'was to be with the School last year but was on the United States team in the World Hockey Championships. Ken Clifton and Dave Fitzpat- rick and members of Lakehead University Nor' Westers. Ken is a junior grad who has taught at two other hockey schools. Dave is one of the leading netminders in both the Great Plains Athletic Conference and the Internation- al Collegiate Hockey Association. Last year he taught at the School and his teaching tech- niques drew praise from those he taught and also the School staff. Ian MacRae joined the School late last year. He graduated from Queen's University in physical education and has been coaching high school hockey the past number of years. Sam Walter is one of the - most respected men in the School. He is the director of the field program and is in his fourth year with the School. The Lakehead School of Hockey offers more than three hours of ice time daily Monday through Friday with Saturday being a half day operation. The same amount of time is sche- duled in the field program. Also included is Video-Tape Analysis, chalk talks and instruc- tional films. : The School has earned a reputation as one of the best. As Mrs. Zimmerman from St. school again, we scouted around. He's been to other schools but they just can't compare. I really mean it". CAVANAUGH : - Mr. and Mrs. Ed Cavanaugh received the sad news that their grandson, Terry had been killed while crossing a street in Prince George, B.C. on Saturday, February 12th. Terry, 22 years of age, was born in Terrace Bay and is the son of Rita and Joe Cavanaugh of 420 North Patterson St., Prince George, B.C.
