XS WEEKLY REPORT CROSS-COUNTRY SKI CLINIC: The registration deadline for the Cross Country Ski Clinic has been set for 5:00 p.m. today (Wednesday).. For those persons already registered, the clinic commences this Friday, February 4th, at 7:00 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Recreation Centre. RED CROSS AND ROYAL LIFE INSTRUCTORS COURSE : In an effort to upgrade and increase the number of Red Cross and Royal Life swim in- structors in our area, there will be an in-- structors course held at the Marathon Swim Pool from March 21st to 25th. In order to properly programme for this course, a dead- line date of March 7th has been established. Anyone in Terrace Bay 17 years of age or over and holding both Red Cross Leader award and Royal Life Bronze Medallion can register at the Terrace Bay Recreation Office. Course fee is $35.00 and must accompany the regis- ) tration. ART CLUB NEWS: The Terrace Bay Art Club will once again sponsor an Art Course (mixed media) to run for 12 consecutive weeks commencing Tuesday, February 8th, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A registration fee of $14.00 for non-members and $10.00 for members shall be required at the first session. , Bring yourself, charcoal, pencil and paper to the large meeting room in the Recreation Centre on February 8th. Instructor for the course is Mary Middaugh.
