TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 5 SKI ONTARIO PROVINCIAL POLICE TRAC PRESS RELEASE In an effort to discourage ski thefts in Ontario, a program has been launched by the Ontarie Ski Council with the co-operation of the Ontario Provincial Police and support of Labatt's Ontario Breweries. The program is called "SKI TRACE" and is available to anyone who skis; downhill or cross-country, and wishes to participate. Simply pick up a registration form at the O.P.P. Detachment in Schreiber or Recreation Office in Terrace Bay, complete information - name, address, phone number, make, model and serial number of skis and bindings and return to Ontario Ski Council or the 0.B.P. Your skis are then registered and the infor- mation is filed should they be lost or stolen. A SKI TRACE decal is given to all partici- pants, who return the registration card, to be placed. on the face of the skis as a visual de- terrent against theft. : For further information about the Ski Trace program contact the O.P.P. in Schreiber at 824-2333 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 P.m., Monday through Friday. Player of the week is based on ability, most improved and desire. These trophies are donated by "Frankel Marshall.
