IN MARATHON The Schreiber Art Club, at their regular meeting, November 8th, received an invitation from Confederation College to attend the Leo Wong, Toronto, Art Show now on display in the College in Thunder Bay. Information on other matters will follow later from the College. Several members attended an Arts, Crafts and Photography Show in Marathon, by invita- tion and found it most interesting. This was the Marathon Club's first show and Schreiber heartily congratulated them on their success. Mrs. Colleen Glad presided for the meeting in the absence of Mrs. Simone Bourgeois and Miss Gwen Hadley presented the treasurer's re- port. The next meeting will be on December 5th, in the Public School Art room. DEVON: Many, of his friends in this vincinity will be saddened to hear of the sudden death of Jack Devon of Eganville Ontario, husband of * Ethel Godin formerly of Schreiber.
