It is hoped that the additional accommodation will be ready for oc- cupation by classes before Christmas. The Board has completed the sale of proper- ty in Rossport. The property was tendered and it was given to the highest bidder. Nomination Day for Municipal Elections: November 15th, 1976. Polling Day: December 6th; 1976. TERRACE BAY POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT During the week of October 17th to 24th, the Terrace Bay Police investigated 34 occur- ences within the Township. On October 18, two cases of theft were re- ported which resulted in charges being laid a- gainst a Terrace Bay man. On October 19, a local resident failed to have insurance for his motor vehicle and was issued a summons for that offence. Police later in the day located and delivered a com- passionate message to a construction worker at the expansion site. On October 20, a resident of Thunder Bay failed to observe the speed limit as he passed through our fair town, he received a summons for his inattention. Later the same day the theft of gasoline was reported. Police are - attempting to locate two suspects about this offence. On October 21, a camp resident was charged with operating a vehicle with no insurance. Later police investigation resulted in three Thunder Bay men being charged with possession of marijuana.' On October 23, one offence of theft under $200. was reported to and cleared by police. Four charges under the Liquor Licence Act were laid, one Highway Traffic Act charge was laid, and one motor vehicle collision was investiga- ted. On October 22, one offence of theft under $200. was reported. During the day radar was pressed into duty which resulted in four char- ges of speeding being laid. On October 24, three L.L.A. charges were laid, one H.T.A. charge. Police recovered TERRACE. BAY PUBLIC LIBRARY The Terrace Bay Public Library will be closed November 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th, in order to install new shelving. a stolen auto before it was reported stolen and one motor vehicle collision was investigat -ed. CATHOLIC WOMENS LEAGUE MEETING The Catholic Womens League held their regul -ar meeting on Sunday night, October 24, 1976, chaired by Mrs. J. Kennedy. The Rosary was recited in the Church, fol- lowed by the installation of officers. The Minutes were read and approved, followed by the Treasurer's report. Correspondence was read by Mrs. Edna Ramsay. : Mrs. L. Belliveau (Communication and Public Relations Convener) reported on the Regional meeting which was held in Schreiber, October 13th. + Mrs. Falzetta (Organization) has a member- ship of 68 paid up members. Mrs. C. Roen (Church Life) discussed a liv- ing rosary, to be held during the month of Nov --ember. Mrs. M. Hale will be our convener for Com- 'munity Life.
