It is important to point out that the week- ly arena schedule which will be appearing in the Terrace Bay News is always subject to change without notice. We encourage as many people in Terrace Bay as possible to take part in the various activ- ities offered in the arena and the facilities should be used properly and not abused. Rem-- ember that during public skating sessions you must present your current Recreation disc to prove membership. USER GROUPS OF TERRACE BAY ARENA MUST SIGN AGREEMENTS FOR FIRST TIME: The Terrace Bay Recreation Committee have adopted the policy of having written agree- ments with every user group utilizing the Terrace Bay Arena this year. The overall objective of this agreement is to make the respective user groups responsible for their participants through misuse or wil- 1ful damage to facilities and/or equipment. THE LAKE SUPERIOR BOARD OF EDUCATION requires for November 1, 1976 ASSIS TANT SUPERINTENDENT OF BUSINESS & FINANCE Qualifications: i) Chartered Accountant, C.G.A. or R.l.A. qualifications, or equivalent. (Senior Students will be considered.) : Successful experience in business admin- istration, preferably with a Board of Education. » ii) " Applicants should submit resume of: a) Educational background. b) Professional experience. Pogue; Director CURLING RINK ICE: The initial layer of curling ice has been completed and now the final preparation for playable ice is in the hands of the Terrace Bay Curling Club. At the time of this write up, the white base paint had been completed and it would appear that playable ice would be available this com- ing week-end October 16-17th. \ JUNIOR BADMINTON PROGRAMME : The Junior Badminton programme which is being sponsored through the night school of the Lake Superior Board of Education, will get under way this Saturday, Oct. l6th. Instructor for this programme is Rosalind Kenney and ses- sions will be held each Saturday morning from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Terrace Bay High School auditorium. ART CLUB NEWS: An Art Course is in the offering - Beginners as well as advanced persons are most welcome. Thursday, October 14th at 7:00 p.m. in the Large Meeting room of the Recreation Centre is the place to share your interests and join in on a preview session of the course content and particulars. Bring yourself -~ pencil and pap- er. Hope to see you there.
