LADIES GOLF NEWS The Ladies Club held their Club Champion- ship on Saturday and Sunday, August 28th and 29th. Congratulations to Julie Rattray, who became Club Champion for the third year in a row. First runner up low gross was Jeanette Gunter; Second runner up low gross was Ruby Clark and low net winner was Marg Phillips. The 36 Handicap Tournament was held in conjunction with the Club Champion- ship and the winners were: 36 Handicap Trophy - Helen Farrell, Runner up low gross - Audrey Hara. This winds up our Tournaments for this year, except for Ladies Twilights, which will continue as long as weather permits. STORK CLUB Born to Mr. and Mrs. Carl Boutilier of Terrace Bay, a girl on August 27th. RECREATION DEPARTEMENT WEEKLY REPORT YOGA: ; The Recreation Department is hoping to offer a programme in Yoga this fall. The commencement of this programme will be de- termined by interest indicated by those who wish to participate. Anyone wishing to regis -ter is asked to please contact the Recréa- tion Office at 825-3542. SWIM POOL NEWS: : The swim classes for the summer are now concluded and we feel that the program was very successful. During the July session, those who were examined by Red Cross totalled 63% passing, and the passing average for the August session was 77%, including the Royal Life examinations. Congratulations to all those who passed their tests. Unfortunately, we are experiencing difficulty in obtaining Tadpole and Minnow crests and swimmers who did not receive these crests will be notified as soon as they arrive at the Recreation Office.
