Bill graduated with a B. Sc. in Forestry and is employed in the Woodlands Division of Kimberly-Clark here in Terrace Bay. RECREATION DEPARTMENT WEEKLY REPORT ~ PLAYGROUND 1976: We have been kept very busy in the past few weeks of the Playground program. On Fri- day, July 23rd, the 7 to 12 year olds enjoyed a swim party at Whitesand Lake. For once the weather was on our side and everyone had a fun Special thanks to Judy. Zwaresh and Maureen Pytyck for lifeguarding. On Friday, July 30th, the 4 to 6 year '0lds tried their luck at treasure hunting. All dressed up in pirate hats and eye patches. They hunted for Blackbeard's buried treasure. After a successful hunt, we roasted marshmal= lows which tasted good - even at 10:00 in the morning. Thanks to all those who provided transportation. Also on Friday a slsepaver was held for the 7 to 12 year old girls at the Public School gymnasium. The night was a success and to the leaders' surprise, bedtime was not as late as expected. The next morning we all went for breakfast. We would like to see more people come out and make use of our playground and participate in the activities.
