Rhea and Joanne are both new golfers and certainly deserve a hand for such a good showing. The Hiram Walker Tournament was held on Sunday, July 25th. Winners were - low net = Rhea Beaulieu, Runner-up Jan Hall, Low Gross- Jeannette Gunter. The Board of Directors held their tourna- ment on June 25th and the winner was Jean Megraw with Linda Hutchinson as runner-up. Our Ladies Open is coming up on August ~ 8th." Birch, age 7I, of Schreiber, passed away suddenly in a Thunder Bay hospital on Wednesday, July 2I, I976. Mr. George Birch was a long-time member: of the local IOOF and past governor of the Loyal Order of Moose. Also a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. He re- tired from the CPR as an engineer in December I969. Presently he was president of the Schreiber Chimo Club.
