A.W. DAMIS Forecast Period: June 6 to June 12 You will undergo a high degree of emotional sensitivity. Avoid the urge to provoke your mate or similar alliance; furthermore, don't put associates to the test. An overworked imagination plus too much self pity might thwart your job, task or project. Unless, you exert self control, this won't be one of your better weeks. Spending money and speculating, believe it or not, are recommended to bolster your spirits. It seems as though you'll need relief from "budget" pressures. It's time to take on a "low profile." In other words, pull out of mainstream activities. Blun- tly let someone else take the reins - there's non-productive material ahead! It's an ideal time for calculated risks. Ac- tually, there should be ro problem as far as speculations are concerned. Also, you should receive a compliment from an unexpected source. There's something questionable about a close associate's motives. A spoken compliment will have a "ring" of deceptiveness. Double your guard against a so-called "friend." Throw yourself, totally, into taking care of detail and long neglected minor repairs. Otherwise, you face a series of irritating set- backs; financial reversals. Long held, and habitual romance patterns will change drastically, for most members of your sign. Please take care in affairs of the heart ..it's possible for you to deny reality and security, too. There could be problems at your job, task or project. Actually, it's not a good time tq rely on teamwork. Changes that you have long had in mind can be introduced, to your associates, with a minimum of adjustment. Meaning? Now, is the time for new plans, suggestions and ideas. Stellar patterns alert you to the outside chance of running into legal snags. There's aid coming from an unexpected source, however. But, wait. Look for Strings attached. : This week, lacking solid intelligence, you might pick up a few bad habits from an associate. So, act firmly, and refuse to be tempted. INFORMATION ONTARIO - BY BEV YOUNG J TAX ON MEALS As of April 7, 1976 the price of prepared meals was increased to $5.00 from the previous $4.00. : J This means that tax is not applicable to 4 the sale price of a prepared meal of $5.00 or less. Tax at the rate of 10% must be charged on meals over $5.00. Where each person is given a separate bill, it is the total charge (excluding liquor, beer, or wine) which determines whether the charge is taxable, or exempt. > The meals for several persons are often re- corded on one bill. When this occurs, the number of persons served must be shown on the bill and if the average price per person is $5.00 or less tax does not apply. If the average price per person is over $5.00 tax of 10% applies to the total amount of the bill. Charges for liquor, beer or wine must al- ways be shown separately at the total taxed at 10%.
