MAY 12, 1976 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE. 3 MCCAUSLAND: Mrs. Lois McCausland, age 58 of 79 Hudson Drive, Terrace Bay, Ontario passed away on May 4, 1976 in Terrace Bay. Born in Toronto and educated in Dunsville, she trained at the Toronto General Hospital. She came to Terrace Bay in 1946 and through the years was active on the Terrace Bay Lib- rary Board and Ladies Auxiliary to the Commun~- ity Church. Mrs. McCausland is survived by her husband, Dr. Michael McCausland; four daughters, Judy (Mrs. John Griffiths) Sault Ste. Marie, Susan (Mrs. Harold Hansen) McKenzie, B.C., Molly (Mrs. Ingo Schmiedchen) Barrie, Ontario, Pat (Mrs. Jack Hasen) Toronto; seven grand- children; Mother, Mrs. Dearden Rigg; sister, Mrs. Edward Brady, Oakville. Pallbearers were Joe Marcella, Bill Hanley, Lionel Waghorn, Al Pattison, Hugh Hamilton and Dave Desrosiers. Funeral services were held on Friday, May 7th at the Terrace Bay Community Church with Rev. George Quibell of Nipigon officiating. Mrs. Ellen Hodgkiss was. the organist. Interment at Terrace Bay cemetery. RECREATION DEPARTMENT WEEKLY REPORT RECREATION CENTRE CLOSED MAY 15, 16, and 17th: Due to the changeover in concessionaire at the Recreation Centre, it will be necessary to close the Recreation Centre to the public for three days. However, in order to accomodate bus freight and tickets, plus the public lib- rary, the long hallway only in the Recreation Centre will be open to the public. Please . refer to page 10 for further details. TENNIS AND GOLF CLINIC: In conjunction with the Sports Travelcade which will be in Terrace Bay on May 29th and June 30th, both a Golf Clinic and a Tennis Clinic will be made available to the general public. In terms of the Golf Clinic, all interested persons are referred to the Aguasabon Golf Club, who will be co-ordinating the Golf Clin- ic. Notices of the Golf Clinic will be placed at the club-house when it opens to the public. It should be mentioned that a professional golf instructor will be made available from May 29th to June lst. All those interested in participating in a ' Tennis Clinic on May 29th and 30th should . leave their name, age and phone number at the Recreation Office.
