ARRIL 28, 1976 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 5 K-C TEAM TAKES BROOMBALL TITLE: Cont'd Thunder Bay, Ottawa, Toronto and Minneapol- is are hotbeds of broomball activity with Min- neapolis having over 350 registered broomball teams. Terrace Bay's per capita interest in the sport was equally as high over the past season with five teams competing and a promise of an expanded league for next season. This season's league consisted of teams representing Meco, Peterson Electric, K-C, sanross and Frankel-Marshall. K-C entered the playoffs as the underdog having finished third in league standing and unable to beat either or the top two teams, Meco and Peterson, dur- ing regular season play. Peterson was elimin- ated in the three team round robin semi final which set the stage for the final between K-C and Meco. Peter Geldreich coached the winning K-C team and the team roster is as follows: Dave Bain, Trent Desaulnier,; Judy Falzetta, Mike Fenton, Carl Gorham, Ray Hansen, Steve Hilder, Ross Hudson, Ken Johnson, Ron Kusano, Bruce Lundberg, Dave Luxmore, Ray Mikkonen, Steve Moniere = Williams, Jack Moore, Ed Nicol, Marvin Osmar, Tom Patterson, Bill Pytyck, Bob Roberts Sr., Bob Roberts Jr., Barry Walsh, Len Webb and Charlie Wise.
