Forward applications to the Terrace Bay Recreation Committee by - FRIDAY, MAY 12TH AT LATEST @ SUMMER PROGRAMMER Person filling this position would be res- ponsible for a wide range of summer pro- grammes, supervision of staff, "etc. This person would report directly to the Recrea- tion Co-ordinator. Employment period from May 24th to August 27th. Rate of pay would be $150.00 per week. Preference given to person already enrolled in Recreation degree or diploma programme or graduate. ~@ SWIM POOL MANAGER - INSTRUCTOR Must hold Red Cross and Royal Li fe Instruct- ors Certificate. Must also have previous instructional and pool management experi- ence. Age of I8 years or over preferred. Knowledge of competitive swimming would be an asset. Employment period approx- imately June 7th to September 10th. ® ASSISTANT POOL MANAGER-INSTRUCTOR Must hold Red Cross and Royal Life Saving Instructors Certificate. Must also have previous instructional and pool management experience. Age of IB years or over pre- ferred. Employment period approximately June 23rd to September 10th. ® LIFEGUARD - INSTRUCTOR (4 POSITIONS) Must possess Red Cross Leaders Certificate and/or National Lifeguard Certificate. Those holding Red Cross and Royal Life Saving In- structors Certificate preferred. Age of 17 years or over preferred. Employment period approximately June 23rd to September 10th. Em- ployment period approximately June 28th to August 27th. 8 PLAYGROUND LEADERS (3 POSITIONS) Age of I5 years or over preferred. Previous playground experience preferred. Must be available to attend Training Course in last week of June or first week in July. Employment period approximately July 5th to August 27th. @ swim POOL CASHIERS (2 POSITIONS) Age of I6 years or over preferred. Capable of handling admissions and checking system for clothing. Previous experience would be an ass- et. Employment period approximately June 23rd to September 10th. ® SWIM POOL MAINTENANCE (2 POSITIONS) Age of I6 years or over preferred. Prior experience in Pool filtration equipment would be an asset. Persons filling these positions would report to Swim Pool Manager. Employment period approximately June 14th to September 12. ® VOLUNTEERS As in past years written applications will be accepted from persons interested in assisting Playground staff. Volunteers accepted for the Playground program -me would act as Leaders-In-Training and assist staff. RELIEF LIFEGUARDS: - This year, a number of re- lief Lifeguards will be required to assist re- gular staff. These are hourly paid positions. Age of I5 years or over preferred. Must hold Bronze Medallion Award.
