The Terrace Bay Atom's (eight and nine year olds) are attending a tournament in Mar- athon next weekend. BROWNIES SEND PENNIES TO OXFAM The Terrace Bay Brownies sent Christmas pennies to Oxfam and received a news letter in reply explaining what was done with money. The following is part of the letter they re- ceived: ; OXFAM AT WORK IN GUATEMALA: The three agenc- ies with representatives in San Martin right after the quake (oxfam, Caritas and Care) formed an emergency food committee in the town. The Oxfam-Vecinos Mundiales Team organ- ized volunteer groups to clear the roads into town of landslides. ; Over these partially opened roads the emer -gency food committee brought in over fifty tons of foodstuffs in the first ten days. Where the trucks could not get through, vol- unteers lugged the heavy sacks on their backs.
