Separ- ate School Board held their second regular meeting on Saturday, February 2I, I976 at the Holy Angels School in Schreiber. Sr. Marcel Belfry introduced the staff to the members of the Board and Mr. J. Bunkis, Chairman of the Board, introduced Board mem- bers to staff. At the conclusion of the meet- ing, members of the Board were conducted on a tour of the school by the staff. During the business session of the meeting, the Board: i) received a letter from the Minister of Ed- ucation, the Honourable Thomas L. Wells, giv- ing official approval for the name of the Board and wishing the trustees success in their new challenge. ii) accepted a schedule for the determination of expense allowances. iii) discussed a report from the management committee describing possible sites for the location of Board offices. iv) approved a monthly charge of $2,500.00 for adminstrative services to the Geraldton Dis- trict R.C.S.S. Board. v) discussed a programme of assessment review and referred the question to the finance com- mittee for study. vi) accepted, with regret, the resignation of Mrs. Marjorie Stephen. vii) approved payment of January Bills. On Sunday evening, March 7, I976 when a most delicious dinner was enjoyed at the Im- perial Restaurant, members of the Terrace Bay Chamber of Commerce honoured this year's par- ents of the New Years Baby, Mr. and Mrs. Ger- ald Waverick. : On behalf of the Chamber, Mrs. Eva Connors presented the traditional silver engraved cup and other gifts. 1) AY Di CAUTIOUSLY
