LETTER TO THE EDITOR: It seems that the reporter of the Court report of February 19, 1976 must have had her report edited before she turned it in to the Terrace Bay News, as there was a few notable omissions as to what actually happened there. Seeing that the Town Council wants every- thing that happens in our court room made pub- lic, I want the public to read the truth, not just the part siding with our local Police Department. The Judge did find me guilty of the charge, but, in his own words, said this charge was so ridiculous, in fact the most ridiculous to come before him in quite some time, that he" had no alternative, but to dismiss this case and all charges attached to it. Now who do you think pressed this ridicu- lous charge. I certainly didn't. Apparently this must be the reason for the edited version of the report. Now we move on to the apology part of our report. What really transpired is that the NOTICE The due date for interim billing Is March 30th. Arrangements were hand Judge asked both Constable Aulenback and my- self to try and act like mature adults and some time in the future to shake hands and forget this whole matter. I then asked the Judge if I could comply with his request at the time, as I don't see our men in blue that often. He agreed to my request and we both shook hands. Now this is quite different than what we read in the paper last week. This is the actual account of what happened at this session of our court, not the mislead- ing abbreviated version that we read in last weeks paper. Thank you very much, (signed) Marvin Osmar GUIDING NEWS On Sunday, February 22, 1976 the Brownies, Guides, Rangers Cadets and Cubs with their leaders gathered at the Community Church for an Interfaith "Thinking Day" Service.
