MARCH 3, 1976 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 15 TODAY'S CHILD - BY HELEN ALLEN Bp eB EE THE TORONTO 531J)\] synpicate Wally is nine, the kind of child who wins adult attention immediately because he's handsome, outgoing and interested in many things. French Canadian in descent, Wally has blue eyes, light- brown hair, fair skin and a lovely smile. He is healthy, active, muscular and keen on sports. Wally is living in a treatment home for children with emotional problems but the staff feels he is ready to become part of a family. Wally looks forward eagerly to finding a mother and father with perhaps an older brother as well. This lad had trouble in school because he was hyperactive. He is more settled now and loves school. He is in a special class where each student gets a great deal of individual attention. Reading is his weakest subject but in math he is at ghe grade three level. Wally loves camping and swimming and.enjoys being a Cub. Wally needs a family where he will be the youngest and where the parents will want to spend much time with him.
