These girls are part of a group of 40 young people from Dry- den who performed at the Terrace Bay Commun- ity Church -on February 29. The singers and musicians ranged from the ages of seven to seventeen. The choir director is Mrs. Alice Bloom- field and the pianist is Mrs. Ruth Wiwchar. Most of the young people were billeted in homes, but the younger grou slept together in the Church Hall. AUXILIARY TO THE McCAUSLAND HOSPITAL will be sponsoring an ARTS & CRAFT SHOW In conjunction with the Winter Carnival LAKE SUPERIOR PUBLIC SCHOOL AUDITORIUM TERRACE BAY CAMPUS Sat. March 13th 10 am. - 5 p.m. Anyone wishing to display arts and/or crafts are invited to do so by phoning Rolande Lanteigne in Terrace Bay at 825- 9012 or Beth Macadam in Schreiber at 824- 2854. A BAKE SALE will also be held and mem- bers of the Auxiliary are asked to donate. All monies will go the Hospital Building Fund. On Saturday, February 28, 1976 the Women of the Moose, Chapter 1426, Terrace Bay held their 20th Anniversary at the Moose Hall. The ladies were presented with a corsage at the door by the men of the Moose who also prepared a delicious smorgasbord meal for the women. Grace was said by Carmel Zborowski. At the head table were: Stella Sadowick, a 20 year member; Carmel Zborowski, Chaplain; Anne Sta- chiw, Junior Regent and a 20 year member; Sadie Benko, Junior Regent; Alma Hart, Senior - Regent and a 20 year member; Harry Hart, Gov- ernor of the Moose; Helen Almos, Recorder; Alice Yates, College of Regents and Yvonne Leclair, Guide. The cake was made by Mrs. Dorothy Kenney. Following the meal Harry Hart, Governor, in- troduced his wife, Alma, to say a few words. Others who talked on the aims of the Women of the Moose were Mesdames Alice Yates and Helen Almos. On behalf of all the working men Bill Kur- ylo showed his appreciation to all the ladies and thanked them for their support. Working men in the kitchen and serving were Walter Aylward, Don Almos, Pete Caron, Fred Gould, Bill Kurylo, Garnett Pinkerton, Frank Sechesky, Marcel Tardif and Toni Zborowski . The highlight of the evening was a present- ation to the twenty year members by Sadie Benko. Two twenty year members that were ab- sent were Myra Smilsky and Nacey Marquis. A dance to the music of M.V.'s Power Out- let followed in the evening.
