LEGION BRANCH 223 The Ladies Auxiliary will sponsor a "Child -rens Variety Night" during the Winter Carni- val in March. Anyone wishing to enter please contact Pam Jones. The Auxiliary will once again cater to the Guides and Brownies on February 19th. This will be a smorgasbord, supplied by the mothers of the girls. The Auxiliary will supply beverage and dessert. This is convened by A. Beaulieu. The men's Branch have kindly donated the Hall to the Guides and Brownies. Y. Swirhin and F. Boucher were given per- mission to hold a raffle to purchase a second microphone' for use during Variety Nights, etc. In regards to rental of kitchen, last weeks paper should have read - New fees for service of auxiliary and use of the kitchen, $65.00 per day, plus laundry of table linen. If the kitchen is needed the evening before the cost will be $15.00 extra. On February 28 the Legion will hold its Annual Mixed Bonspiel. The next Aux. meeting will be Feb. 23rd.
