PAGE 8 TERRACE BAY NEWS JANUARY 14, 1976 MURRAY - ALLEN VOWS EXCHANGED Opn Friday, December 19th at the Trinity United Church, Thunder Bay in a double ring ceremony, Dianne Claudette Allen and Brian Murray of Toronto were united in marriage by Rev. Gordon Daly. ' Diane is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Allen from Terrace Bay. Brian is the son of John Murray from Toronto. The Bride wore a long empress style white gown trimmed with maribou featuring a full length train. The head dress and veil also were enhanced with maribou. She carried a. bouquet of red roses and small white chris's trimmed with lace and trailing white ribbons. Diane also wore pearl earrings and a tear drop pearl pendant, a gift from her parents. The Bridesmaid was Cheryl Allen, sister of the Bride. She was attired in a long, pink Foral polished cotton dress edged with white lace bands. She carried a giant white mum encircled with lace and trailing white ribb- ons. She wore a silver and pearl pendant, a gift from the Groom. : The ring bearer, Earl Campbell of Thunder Bay, nephew of the Bride wore a brown suit 'and white shirt. He carried the rings on a red satin cushion. : The best man was George Campbell, Thunder Bay. The Groom and best man were attired in brown tuxedoes and beige ruffled shirts. For the occasion the Church was decorated with yellow and white chris's and daisies. A reception followed at the Prince Arthur Hotel. A bouquet of yellow carnations flank- ed by yellow candles decorated the head table. A two tier wedding cake, made by Glady Falshaw, the Brides aunt from Thunder Bay nestled in silver and white tulle. The cake was white and held a pair of doves under an archway of bells and roses. Master of Ceremonies, George Campbell read many telegrams and congratulations. Mr. Campbell and Rev. Daly both proposed a toast to the Bride, to which the Groom responded. The Bride and Groom cut and distributed the cake. The guest book was circulated by George Zanette, cousin of the Bride. The Bride's mother wore a blue silk floor length gown with white accessories and a cor- sage of red rose buds. . : For the trip down to the East the Bride wore a blue pant suit with black accessories and a corsage of red rose buds. Mr. and Mrs. Al Allen and family travelled from Terrace Bay and Miss Susan McParland, friend of the Bride travelled from Schreiber for the wedding.
