(Final Standings and Divisional Play Alignment) Roberts 12-1; Thompson 11-2; Johnson 10-3; Hamilton 9-4; Dupas 8-5; Hermes 8-5; Gusul 8-5. DIVISION B: Crockford 7-6; Chapman 7-6; Cooke 7-5; Harper 6-7; Desrosiers 6-7; McEwen 5-8; Mills 5-8. DIVISION C: Rochon 4-9; Liddle 4-8; Clark 4-9; Waverick POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT A total of fifteen occurences were investi- gated during the week ending Jan. 11, 1976. The beginning of the week saw a Schreiber _ man charged with impaired driving. Three minor disturbances in the Recreation Centre were handled without any charges being laid. : ; A motor vehicle collision on Highway #17 at the entrance to the Mill between a tractor trailer and a % ton truck resulted in extensive damage to the tractor trailer with the passeng- er being taken to the Hospital with head injur- ies. He was treated and released. Once again over the weekend damage was re- ported at the Recreation Centre when a number of garbage cans were damaged. Nine motor vehicles were safety checked with six warnings being issued. One charge of the Highway Traffic Act was laid for an obscured windshield which caused a minor accident. Our Solar System Halfway out from the center of our galaxy--the Milky Way--is our solar system. Nine planets revolve around the sun. Congratulations to the Bob Roberts rink, Roddy Thompson rink and Ken Johnson rink for ending up lst, 2nd and 3rd, respectively in first round play. Schedule for the second round has been posted in the Lounge. Curling playoffs were much in evidence this weekend at the Curling Club as the Leg- ion and Senior Zone playdowns were staged as well as the British Consol Club playdowns. The team from Red Rock won the Senior play- downs. Local rink competing was the Hugh Clark rink of Henry Hermes, Ed Kennedy. and Clem Lemay. The local entry of Hec McLeod, Charles Koski, Ted Velanoff and Jim Clancy went undefeated to become Zone winners. Con- gratulations fellows and the best of luck. In British Consols play the Jerry Dupas rink of Cam Burgess, Mike Fenton and Gary Gu- sul will be representing Terrace Bay in Man- itouwadge on January 23rd, 24th, and 25th, as they were undefeated in three games this past weekend. Best of luck fellows in your Zone Competition. The Terrace Bay Curling Club is also being represented in Northwestern Ontario Ladies District play this week which is being held in Fort Frances...
