Eight various categor- ies of the game were covered and a great deal of thanks to the following members of the Curling Club for volunteering their time to make the Clinic become a reality: Jerry Dup- as (clinic co-ordinator), Cam Burgess, Mike Fenton, Bob Roberts, Ken Johnson, Bob Hopper, Scotty Hamilton and John McEwen. A great deal of thanks to Jim Bishop and Dave Ditch- field for allowing the video tape camera and other related equipment to be used from the school. A progress Clinic may be held in either January or February. i It seems that the early draws in the Men's League are not starting on time. Skips - remind your players that the early draws start at 6:30 p.m. NOT 6:45 p.m. A late start on the early 'draw simply means that curlers on the late draw come off the ice that much later. Curlers can resolve this problem by being at the Rink by 6:30 p.m. to start their game. How about it! Some information on the Men's Draw. This present schedule will continue to the week of January '5th to allow each team to play a total of I3 games. Commencing on January I2 divisional play will be implemented with three divisions operating consisting of eight seven and six teams respectively. The win-loss record of all teams in the first round will determine the division a team will enter for the second round. No curling is scheduled from December 22nd to January 5th. continued page 2
