DECEMBER 10, 1975 TERRACE BAY NEWS PAGE 17 The Schreiber Kinettes provided an after- noon of bingo for the residents of Birchwood Terrace in Terrace Bay. The merry games: were followed by a lunch brought by the Kinettes. Hostesses for the event were Pat Moore, Edythe Cosgrove and Marsha Dunn. Winners were Mrs. Rose Fournier, two games; Bernadette Lemieux, three games; Agatha Dick, Ted Tilbury, Art Gobeill, Agnes Bryson and Sylvia Lustila, all with one game. Mrs. Bryson, on behalf of the residents, thanked the Kinettes for the most enjoyable afternoon. MULLINS: : The funeral of the late William Lawrence (Lanny) Mullins, whose death occurred suddenly on November 22 in Schreiber was conducted by the Rev. F.J. Meyer in Holy Angels Roman Cath- clic Church on November 25. The pall bearers were Jim Power, Larry St. Jean, Bob Fummerton, Randy Bolan, Dan McGrath and Gene Ross. Interment was in Schreiber cemetery. Prior to the church service prayers were offered in the King Funeral Home by Rev. Meyer. Lanny's immediate survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Mullins; his brother, Kevin of Schreiber; grandfather T.H. Mullins of Killaloe; his great uncle, Walter Ballard of Schreiber and many relations in eastern Ontar- io. Lanny, who was 20 years old, was born in the Terrace Bay Hospital and grew up in Schrei -ber. He was educated in Holy Angels Separate School and Terrace Bay High School. At the time of his death he was home visiting from Hornpayne where he was employed with the C.N.R. as a trainman. : Among the many attending the funeral from out of town, in addition to those from local communities, were the following relations: Joseph Mullins and Ted O'Neil, Killaloe; SCHREIBER TAXI AVAILABLE 24 HOURS A DAY PHONE 824-2030 'business meeting. CHIMO CLUB Officers for the coming year for the Chimo Club, Terrace Bay, Schreiber and Rossport are: Mary Chadwell, first vice 'president; Helen Wallace, second vice president; W.T. Wallace, Secretary; Bea McCuaig, treasurer; Ann Todes- co, past president; John Spillane, three year trustee; W.G. Gerow, one year trustee; Joe Campbell, two year trustee; Cyril Sparkes, New Horizon chairman; Bernice Jacomb, Welfare chairman and Ida Krause, Social convener. It was decided to visit Birchwood Terrace in Terrace Bay on December 10. Members are to meet at the Club at 2 p.m. for transporta- tion. The Christmas party was set for December 19 with entertainment to be provided by Terr- ace Bay members. The party will start with a potluck supper at 5:30 followed by brief Then the fun will begin.
