The L.A. would like all mothers of Guides and Brownies and other interested people to contact them and attend the next L.A. meeting to be held Nov. 24 at 7:30 p.m. We would like them to help with the small projects that are held throughout the year. Once again it was noted that these mothers will only be asked maybe twice a year to give their assistance. Babysitter bills were accepted from the Guiders. A Motion was made by R. McBride, seconded by B. Pytyck to donate $20.00 to each A donation was made to the Community Church in appreciation for the use of the Church Hall for the L.A. meet- ings and Brownies, and to the Scout Cormittee for the use of the Scout Hall. . A wreath will be laid at the Cenotaph on November 8th. This year with permission from Council, the Terrace Bay Cadet Company will convene the An- nual Liquorice, Allsorts Blitz. A tentative date of Thursday, December llth was set. It was agreed that "stations" be set up at homes in all areas for the Blitz. This is one time mothers can help out. Guides and Brownies will _ work in their own area, with 6 girls to a sta- tion.
