PAGE 8 TERRACE BAY NEWS SEPTEMBER 10, 1975 JOHNSON-GOULD VOWS EXCHANGED On Saturdsy, August 9th, I975 at 4:00 p.m, Gail Ann Gould the youngest daughter of Clara and Fred Gould, 424 Elizabeth hvenue, Terrace Bay, was united in Marriage by Reverend Peter McKague in a double ring ceremony, to Bertil Cordon Allan Johnson of Thunder Bay, the eldest son of Lillien and Eric Johnson, Hawks Junction, Ontario. Given in marrtage by her father (ail looked radiant in a floor length white wedding gown of georgette over taffeta, featuring a scalloped neckline, long sheer puff sleeves, fit- ted bodice and full princess style skirt. A border of lace motifs decorated the front of the skirt and down each side of the train which was attached at the waist. Her floor length vell of tulle illusion was also edged with lace and fell in two tiers over the train to billow out softly behind the Bride as she walked with her father between pews decorated with yellow daisies and setin bows. Her corsage was champagne carnations and she wore a white silk stole with white accessories. A smorgasborg wedding supper and dance was held at the Moose Hall, Terrace Bay. Mrs, Alma McDonald, Senior Regent of the Women of the Moose was dining room hostess. John De jonghe, the Brides Godfather acted as Master of Ceremonies, Before intréducing the Bridal party Mr, Dejonghe presented the Bride and Groom with & family Bible. He gave the Toast to the Bride with the Groom responding and then giving a toast to the Bridesmeids. John Chamberlain responded and then a toast was given to the Mothers of the Bride and Groom / with Fred Gould responding. ] A pink and white three tiered wedding cake, decorated and made by Clara Gould decorated the head table, It lay on a bed of white tulle flanked by pink candles in crystal holders.
