Head), Ray Achurch (Dept Head). TERRACE BAY SOCIAL SPECTRUM Cathy Zwaresh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. Zwaresh has been awarded the Lakehead Univer- sity Alumini Association Bursary. Cathy is in her 3rd year B.A. Program. : Summer visitors with Cora and John Rop- chan and Michael and Joanne Moore were John and Ann Ropchan, Kitchener; Nick and Irene Ropchan, Espanola; Charlie and Eleanor Ar- nold, Toronto; Charlotte Ross, Shilo, Man.;. Betty and Lloyd Boyle with Karin and Pat, Nipigon and Cheryl and Dave Kent with daughter Paula celebrating her first birthday from Thunder Bay. A very interesting summer visitor to Terr- ace Bay was Beth Turner of Adelaide Australia. She first heard of Terrace Bay fifteen years ago, when through Guides she became a Pen Pal of Pat Downey. Thé Downey family moved from Terrace Bay in I965. Lois, Pat's mother had been very active in the Guide movement here and has continued on a reduced scale in California. Beth has taught school in Adelaide for five years and is presently on a six months leave of absence. She flew from Australia to Los Angeles, from there to various places in the U.S.A. by plane and bus, eventually arr- iving in Vancouver.
