PAGE 4 TERRACE BAY NEWS SEPTEMBER 4, I975 IN THE NEWS THIS WEEK 25 YEARS AGO - August 31, 1950 SIGN OF THE TIMES: There is a great amount of activity going on around the Townsite these days. What with the con- struotion going on of new houses, a new Post Offices, and Catholic Church, the place is a real bee-hive of industry. Recently we have acquired a new and ultra-modern butcher shop; Terrace Bay -Enterprises garage having a "new look" about the place with new services, including "free air" service; Ter- race (roceteria with it's Coffee Bar and the Bay with it's new grocery department and many changes upstairs, All of these and others under consideration, tend to meke life just ARIES Mar. 21-Apr. 19 TAURUS Apr. 20-May 20 GEMINI May 21-June 20 MOONCHILD June 21-July 22 LEO July 23-Aug. 22 VIRGO Aug. 23-Sept. 22 LIBRA Sept. 23-Oct. 22 SCORPIO Oct. 23-Nov. 21 SAGITTARIUS Nov. 22-Dec. 21 CAPRICORN Dec. 22-Jan. 19 AQUARIUS Jan. 20-Feb. 18 PISCES Feb. 19-Mar. 20 - your week ahead DR: W. DAMIS Forecast Period: September 7 to September 13 Favors, recognition and a firm promise of bet- ter things to come, shows in the chart for most members of your sign. Incidentally, in all probability, you'll meet an affluent person. Hold on! The next seven days will pass swift- ly; much will be left unfinished. Also, you could have problems with someone in authority. Don't develop too much enthusiasm about a promise to help you with your job, task or project. If you look around...there's no one you can, really, count on. Boredom with your daily routine and a mysterious mood that even your chart cannot explain--makes most members of your sign, accident prone. So, follow basic safety rules. Communicating with a member of the op- posite sex, seems to be a problem. One thing for certain syour ego won't be nourished. There's such a thing as having too much good coming your way. The gravy train is about to stop...if, you take the opposite sex for granted. A surprise is about to take place at your job, task or project; try to be patient. Remember, good fortune often arrives by way of strange avenues. Don't rely on receiving help from an old friend. Remember, your absence has been the ingredient for this friend to become involved in other things. : Stellar patterns offer little more than the promise that neighbor or associate will impose upon you. So, draw a line as to how much you'll give of yourself. In spite of your being forced to associate with persons who are not to your liking; control your emotions, speak pleasantly...you'll make out in the end. An associate, secretly, accuses you of being on an "ego trip." It's true, many under your sign have become self centered. For your own good--think about it! Outside pressures could force you to do strange things. You're inclined toward the exotic and bizarre as release for you inner frustrations. Take care, permanent damage could occur. that much more comfortable here in our fast-growing new little community. Mr, and Mrs. F.B. Thompson and daughter Jane of Winnipeg paid a visit to Mr. and Mrs, Paul Boudreau, The grand-par=- ents were delighted at seeing their new grandson and re- newing acquaintances with other friends here in Terrace Bay. We have reports that the heaviest man on the Electrical Staff (olue: he owns two cers) is now leaving fresh-cut garden flowers on his Foreman's Deski!
