Arrangements are presently being finalized with Confederation College regarding a Cross Country Ski Clinic to be held in our commun- ity hopefully during the month of November. We would appreciate hearing from anyone who would be interested in participating in this type of clinic. { GIVE US A CALL If there are any special types of programm- es that you would like to see brought in to the community, why not make your ideas known to the Recreation Department. PROGRAMME BROCHURES AVAILABLE: In view of the number of new families mov- ing into town, the Recreation Office does have extra copies of the I975 programme bro- chure, which outlines programmes, staff and the Recreation membership system. If you have just arrived in our community, feel free to drop down to the Recreation Office to get your copy of the I975 programme brochure. TERRACE BAY POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT During the period August I8th to 3Ist a total of sixty occurrences were reported. August I8th - damage was reported to The Bell Telephone at the CPR Station. August I9th - The theft of fishing gear from a parked car was reported. August 22nd = The theft of a tire from a damaged vehicle was reported. August 23rd - A window at St. Martins School,' was broken by a rock. August 24th = The the-1 ft of a ladder was reported by a local resi- dent. August 25th - Two private planes were forced down by bad weather. It did not take long for hoodlams to attack these planes and steal the contents. Total loss to the owners is in the area of $13,500. August 27th - It was reported that the Dry Cleaners had been broken into. August 29th - Damage was reported at the Recreation Centre. Also on this date a break and enter was reported at a local residence. August 30th - A Schreiber resident was charged with impaired driving.
