TERRACE 3AY RECREATION DEPARTMENT WEEKLY REPORT MINOR SOFTBALL: As indicated in last week's paper, the win-_ ner of the American League was the ORIOLES who beat out the ROYALS in a 2-game total score playoff. Congratulations to the ORIOLES. Due to swim meets and other activities on weekends, any possible Minor League out-of-town games would have to be played after 4:30 on weekdays. Players will be notified of any such games by their captains. TENNIS: Tennis has been a busy activity this summer and more and more people are turning out to play this game. MOBILE SAILING COURSE: In spite of slow registration at the out- set, this proved to be a very popular and suc- cessful programme, with II persons participat- ing.
