IN THE NEWS THIS WEEK 25 YEARS AGO - JULY 27, 1950 STORK CLUB: Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Ray Belliveau on the arrival of a daughter on Monday, July 24, Mother and daughter both doing well. Some of those chaps who moved out to Terrace Beach for the summer and commute daily to their work at the Mill cer- tainly have their own unique type of recreation out there. We have a report on their latest encounter with some real ARIES Mar. 21-Apr. 19 TAURUS Apr. 20-May 20 GEMINI May 21-June 20 MOONCHILD June 21-July 22 LEO July 23-Aug. 22 VIRGO Aug. 23-Sept. 22 LIBRA Sept. 23-Oct. 22 SCORPIO Oct. 23-Nov. 21 SAGITTARIUS Nov. 22-Dec. 21 CAPRICORN Dec. 22-Jan. 19 AQUARIUS Jan. 20-Feb. 18 PISCES Feb. 19-Mar. 20 Forecast Period: August 3 to August 9 Well, now! It seems as though many members of your sign will receive overtures from someone who is unattached. Actually, it's not anything to worry about. _ According to your chart, a."gut feeling" con- cerning money or an investment...should pay off."What is more, if circumstances allow, look into real estate. This forecast, of course, doesn't apply to all members of your sign. Nonetheless, there's a good possibility that a hobby or previous ex- perience will pay off. Those under your sign unattached, might find that an old friendship has dropped in value. But, wait! A secret admirer will make a gesture. Shore up your existing friends; recruit allies and open new social doors. According to the general scheme of things--you'll need moral support in a new venture. Stellar patterns indicate that you've com- plicated the relationship existing between you and the opposite sex. Do you want to pick up the pieces and start all over again? This cosmic cycle eliminates several of your personality flaws, that's good! Most impor- tant, you're going to be closer to your mate, or similar alliance. The twin wolves, indifference and carelessness are now stalking your job, task or project. Take advantage of extra time to com- plete this week's schedule. Good emotional balance and a surge of am- bition, shows in your chart. Things look good, especially with your job, task or project. There has been better weeks, please under- stand. This particular cosmic influence triggers a streak of emotional depression, for no apparent reason--it'll pass quickly. There are times when you'll over value one thing and ignore another. This week, however, the looser you are with a buck--the greater will be the return. Strange, indeed! Mischief, this week, is on the march. It's highly probable that you'll be running up blind alleys--guided by half truths and rumors. Try to avoid gossip, Pisces! PERSONALITY PROFILE For your Sun Sign Analysis, send the day, month, year and place of birth, plus $1.00 for postage and handling to Dr. Andrew W. Damis, P. O. Box 12766, St. Petersburg, Florida 33733. wild game, It seems that a young bear, of 200 pounds, had been bothering them frequently for the past couple of weeks, So about 5 a.m. the other day Hugh Brophy was awekened by some noise and thinking it was some of the boys from one of the other cottages having a little horse-play, he arose and sought refuge in one of the other cottages. A short while later, Ray Blanchard was awakened by a similar noise and upon looking out his window, came face to face with Mr, Bear, Ray exercised his lungs to good advantage and "Little Joe" Campbell came a-running with his trusty carbine, Calmly giving instructions to Ray to lie down on his bed and to keep his head out of his line of fire, he took a steady bead and ; shot Mr, Bear right thru the window. Upon checking several 1 manuals on the hunting of wild game we find that there have been several Hundreds of bears shot in the last fifty years, and each shot in a different place, but this is the first one on record to be "shot in the window", 20 YEARS AGO - JULY 28, 1955 STORK CLUB: Congratulations this week go to Mr. and Mrs. H. landry on the birth of a daughter on July 24th and to Mr. and Mrs, R, Gerlach on the birth of a son on July 24th, Margaret laundy was a guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs, H.C.
